Natural Isotonic?



During the month of fasting Ramadhan, refreshing drink of coconut water is the most sought to break the fast. In addition to refreshing coconut water is a natural isotonic beverage.

According to the National Agriculture Organization (FAO), young coconut water can be used as a natural energy drinks. This is because coconut water is rich in potassium(potash), sugar, and protein. By nature, young coconut water and sugar have a mineralcomposition is perfect, so similar to human body fluids. In contrast to isotonic drinks in containers that are harmful if taken carelessly, coconut water is relatively safe for consumption.

Therefore, if you are doing activities that drain a lot of sweat, drink coconut water just enough to replace lost body fluids. However, please note that once opened and removed from its shell, coconut water is easy to change the taste and nutritional impairment.

Order properties of coconut water is not lost, it's better to drink fresh coconut water from a newly opened shell. Drink without any mixture, such as syrup. Just add ice cubes and a little sugar so that freshness increasingly felt.
